LGBTI Pathways Survey

Your Voice Matters!

ILGA–North America and the Caribbean invites LGBTI organizations and groups across the region to take part in the global LGBTI Pathways survey on movement funding needs and realities. By contributing, members help build movement-led evidence for fairer, more effective funding.

For the first time, activists, donors, and governments are generating reliable data on funding gaps and community-defined needs to drive stronger, more sustainable investment in LGBTI movements worldwide.

LGBTI Pathways

LGBTI Pathways is a global resource mobilisation research project by the Global Philanthropy Project and ILGA World that will develop credible, reliable, and accurate evidence on the needs, priorities, and funding landscape of the international and regional LGBTI movements.

The LGBTI Pathways survey will be open from 28 January to 21 April 2026.

Got Questions?

This survey is a unique opportunity to help understand the funding needs and realities of organisations and activists that work with, and for, LGBTI people in every region of the world, identify gaps, and support better funding decisions and advocacy.

The questionnaire seeks input from LGBTI civil society organisations and allied groups on four core areas:
– Funding and sustainability
– Capacity and organisational needs
– Partnerships
– Future priorities
– Regionally-specific issues
– All responses are confidential: LGBTI Pathways will not request your organisation’s name in the survey, and your safety will be a priority at all times.

The LGBTI Pathways survey will be open from 28 January to 21 April 2026.

Once the survey is complete, our researchers will compare the data with the Global Resources Report—a reliable and trusted 10-year benchmark used to map money going to LGBTI movements. Together, they will produce a global gaps analysis, highlighting mismatches between donor reporting and on‑the‑ground needs, and comprehensive global and regional reports.

Help shape the future of funding for LGBTI movements in North America and the Caribbean.
